Naganathar Kovil Kulumani

Arulmigu Naganathar Sametha Lokanayaki amman kovil, kulumani about 12 km from Trichy.

This Temple is said to be more than 5oo years pld and supposed to be built by a Chola King who was relieved of his naga dosha after construction of this temple as instructed by his Rajaguru.
This is a Private temple maintained by Trustees who are heriditary priest at Trichy Thayumanavar Temple.
This is west facing Temple having Moolavar facing West which is rare in Tamilnadu. Ambal sarvalokanayaki 
is facing north.LOrd ganesh is in Right Hand side of the entrance which is also rare. Navagraham is LHS of the Moolavar hence before entering we can worship Navagraha and at the end of  Praharam we can worship Ganesha.
These type of  Temples are said to relieve Vakra Graha Doshas and in particular Naga dosham.
Lokanayaki is the Saviour of the Lokam World.
Beautifully located amidst Paddy Fields, Plantain Fields near to Cauvery Canalling from Uyyakondan. very greeny surroundings.
Kulatheiyvam for the nearby villagers and kulumani people.
Eventhough the temple is locked the priest Mani kurikkal in Kulumani town is ready to seve the devotees at any time if called.
