PERUMAL TEMPLES FOR EYE PROBLEMS

The Following  are vaishnava sthalangal , other than divya desam , which will give remedies to eyes related problems :

1. SITHTHARKAADU @ SITHTHUKADU NEAR THERUMASHISAI - SOUNDARRAJA PERUMAL AND SUNDARAVALLI THAYAAR KOIL.
This Iemple has Garudakodi SIthar Pillar in the Temple and the siththar has miraculous power of healing all eye related problems. there are instances of complete cure for even chronic deseases without operation/surgery. we have to make 11 weeks manja kaappu to the siththar swamy.
This place was once forest with full of siththars and hence the place is known as Sitharkadu and now known as sithukadu. This is the place where Thirumashisai Ashwar made'Davam" 15 kms from Thirumashisai in Thirumashisai - Pattabhiram Road.

2. KOORAM - ATIKESAVAPERUMAL KOIL SREEDEVI BOOTHEVI
 Koorathaashwar Place. When  Shaiva Chola King  Called Sri Ramanujam for giving punishment ,Koorathaashwar , to save his guru Sri Ramanujar went in disguise as Sri Ramanujam. When King ordered to Praise about him, he refused saying he will sing only on Perimal. King ordered to remove his Eyes. Koorathashwar himself plucked his eyes saying he only wanted to see his Perumal in Mind(athmartha). Later on when Sri Ramanujam offered Koorathashwar to give back his eyesight Koorathshwar refused saying he is seeing Perumal only through his ahakkann and that is enough.
We can pay Rs 51 for Nethra Prihaaram in this temple and get our eye problems solved.

3. SALEM SINNA THIRUPATHI SREENIVASA PERUMAL SRIDEVI BOODEVI
Sreenivasa Perumal appeared in one of his devotees long back since the Devotee even though he wish to see him he is unable to go there because of resources. In dream Sreenivasa perumal told he will send adiseshan in the Cow Roopam. and he will show the place where he will Bless All in aroopam. As he said next mornig while he chased a cow it showed a place where a snake hive was there. Perumal asked he will be there with all gods and there is no need to construct temple with murthys. Thulasi Madam and Snake Hive are the Roopams with which Peumal blesses. Even now all the rituals as of tirupathy has been folowed here and only abishekam to Paambu puththu & Thulasi Maadam are worshipped The Sand is said to be medicicne for all problems and theertham is remedy for eye problems.

4.KARIYAMANIKA PERUMAL KOIL THIRuNELVELI TOWN
